I am compelled as an artist to share my interpretations of the natural world around me, using mainly watercolor and acrylic paint.  From the complex details of a little leaf to the vast nebulae and galaxies of the cosmos, I am forever fascinated with our universe.  My style ranges from the more representational (see my fungi, plants, landscapes and spacescapes), to more surreal (as seen in my series of birds), to the more stylized (as in my "Endangered Spacies" series). Throughout all of my work, my goal is to share my love of the natural world and its magic and wonder, as well as my deep concern for nature conservation.
